Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Construction Site Manager to oversee our refurbishment and new build project. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing construction sites, particularly in the refurbishment and new build sector. You will be responsible for ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and supervise all on-site activities, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company policies.

  • Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.

  • Monitor project progress and prepare regular reports for senior management.

  • Ensure that all work is carried out to the highest standards of quality and workmanship.

  • Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise on-site promptly and effectively.

  • Maintain accurate records of site activities, including daily logs, safety inspections, and material deliveries.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Building Science, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.

  • Proven work experience in construction management or a similar role of 5 years.

  • In-depth understanding of construction procedures and material and project management principles.

  • Additional certifications such as SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) or NVQ Level 6 in Construction Site Management may be required.
